Pathfinder is at the USCG Aviation Center in Mobile, AL.

For the next two weeks, we are performing technology upgrades on the Coast Guard Aircrew Weapons Trainer. It was originally designed and built by Pathfinder Systems eight years ago for the USCG Armed Helicopter Squadron and remains in continuous use since then by the USCG and other DoD units to train MH-60 and MH-65 aircrews for armed missions.

Pathfinder Systems has just finished delivering a hardware upgrade to the Door Gunner Simulator for the Royal Netherlands Air Force. This upgrade includes new computing hardware, updated Image Generators, and the addition of a complete After Action Review capability.

Delivered in 2014, the DGS has been continuously used by the RNLAF for high fidelity gunnery training in a wide range of scenarios, including NVG training. This simulator has undergone regular maintenance and upgrades by PSI, and we will continue to do so.

Pathfinder Systems received two Phase I SBIR Contracts from the Naval Air Systems Command within the last six weeks: N68335-20-C-0048 "Demonstration of Advanced Collision Avoidance System," and Task order N68335-20-F-0113 under Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-20-G-1001, "On-board Real-Time Situational Awareness." Both of these SBIRs expand on our previous work on the Air Force's "Operational Prototype of See-and-Avoid Technology" project.
